Verse Summary -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those who
كَفَرُواْdisbelieve
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِin (the) Signs
ٱللَّهِ(of) Allah
وَلِقَآئِهِۦٓand (the) meeting (with) Him,
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَthose
يَئِسُواْ(have) despaired
مِنof
رَّحْمَتِىMy Mercy.
وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَAnd those,
لَهُمْfor them
عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌpainful.
﴿٢٣﴾
فَمَاAnd not
كَانَwas
جَوَابَ(the) answer
قَوْمِهِۦٓ(of) his people
إِلَّآexcept
أَنthat
قَالُواْthey said,
ٱقْتُلُوهُ"Kill him
أَوْor
حَرِّقُوهُburn him."
فَأَنجَـٰهُ ٱللَّهُBut Allah saved him
مِنَfrom
ٱلنَّارِ‌ۚthe fire.
إِنَّIndeed,
فِىin
ذَٲلِكَthat,
لَأَيَـٰتٍsurely (are) Signs
لِّقَوْمٍfor a people
يُؤْمِنُونَwho believe.
﴿٢٤﴾
وَقَالَAnd he said,
إِنَّمَا"Only
ٱتَّخَذْتُمyou have taken
مِّن دُونِbesides
ٱللَّهِAllah
أَوْثَـٰنًاidols
مَّوَدَّةَ(out of) love
بَيْنِكُمْamong you
فِىin
ٱلْحَيَوٲةِthe life
ٱلدُّنْيَا‌ۖ(of) the world.
ثُمَّThen
يَوْمَ(on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrection
يَكْفُرُyou will deny
بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍone another
وَيَلْعَنُand curse
بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًاone another,
وَمَأْوَٮٰكُمُand your abode
ٱلنَّارُ(will be) the Fire
وَمَاand not
لَكُمfor you
مِّنany
نَّـٰصِرِينَhelpers."
﴿٢٥﴾
۞ فَـَٔـامَنَAnd believed
لَهُۥ[in] him
لُوطٌ‌ۘLut,
وَقَالَand he said,
إِنِّى"Indeed I (am)
مُهَاجِرٌemigrating
إِلَىٰto
رَبِّىٓ‌ۖmy Lord.
إِنَّهُۥIndeed, He
هُوَ[He] (is)
ٱلْعَزِيزُthe All-Mighty,
ٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wise."
﴿٢٦﴾
وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We granted
لَهُۥٓto him
إِسْحَـٰقَIshaq
وَيَعْقُوبَand Yaqub
وَجَعَلْنَاand We placed
فِىin
ذُرِّيَّتِهِhis offsprings
ٱلنُّبُوَّةَthe Prophethood
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبَand the Book.
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُAnd We gave him
أَجْرَهُۥhis reward
فِىin
ٱلدُّنْيَا‌ۖthe world.
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, he
فِىin
ٱلْأَخِرَةِthe Hereafter
لَمِنَ(is) surely, among
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteous.
﴿٢٧﴾
وَلُوطًاAnd Lut,
إِذْwhen
قَالَhe said
لِقَوْمِهِۦٓto his people,
إِنَّكُمْ"Indeed, you
لَتَأْتُونَcommit
ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَthe immorality,
مَاnot
سَبَقَكُمhas preceded you
بِهَاwith it
مِنْany
أَحَدٍone
مِّنَfrom
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worlds.
﴿٢٨﴾
أَئِنَّكُمْIndeed, you
لَتَأْتُونَapproach
ٱلرِّجَالَthe men,
وَتَقْطَعُونَand you cut off
ٱلسَّبِيلَthe road
وَتَأْتُونَand commit
فِىin
نَادِيكُمُyour meetings
ٱلْمُنكَرَ‌ۖevil?"
فَمَاAnd not
كَانَwas
جَوَابَ(the) answer
قَوْمِهِۦٓ(of) his people
إِلَّآexcept
أَنthat
قَالُواْthey said,
ٱئْتِنَا"Bring upon us
بِعَذَابِ(the) punishment
ٱللَّهِ(of) Allah
إِنif
كُنتَyou are
مِنَof
ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَthe truthful."
﴿٢٩﴾
قَالَHe said,
رَبِّ"My Lord!
ٱنصُرْنِىHelp me
عَلَىagainst
ٱلْقَوْمِthe people
ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَthe corrupters."
﴿٣٠﴾
وَلَمَّاAnd when
جَآءَتْcame
رُسُلُنَآOur messengers
إِبْرَٲهِيمَ(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰwith the glad tidings
قَالُوٓاْthey said,
إِنَّا"Indeed, we
مُهْلِكُوٓاْ(are) going to destroy
أَهْلِ(the) people
هَـٰذِهِ(of) this
ٱلْقَرْيَةِ‌ۖtown.
إِنَّIndeed,
أَهْلَهَاits people
كَانُواْare
ظَـٰلِمِينَwrongdoers."
﴿٣١﴾
قَالَHe said,
إِنَّ"Indeed,
فِيهَاin it
لُوطًا‌ۚ(is) Lut."
قَالُواْThey said,
نَحْنُ"We
أَعْلَمُknow better
بِمَنwho
فِيهَا‌ۖ(is) in it.
لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥWe will surely save him
وَأَهْلَهُۥٓand his family,
إِلَّاexcept
ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥhis wife.
كَانَتْShe
مِنَ(is) of
ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَthose who remain behind."
﴿٣٢﴾
وَلَمَّآAnd when
أَن[that]
جَآءَتْcame
رُسُلُنَاOur messengers
لُوطًا(to) Lut
سِىٓءَhe was distressed
بِهِمْfor them,
وَضَاقَand felt straitened
بِهِمْfor them
ذَرْعًا(and) uneasy.
وَقَالُواْAnd they said,
لَا"(Do) not
تَخَفْfear
وَلَاand (do) not
تَحْزَنْ‌ۖgrieve.
إِنَّاIndeed, we
مُنَجُّوكَ(will) save you
وَأَهْلَكَand your family,
إِلَّاexcept
ٱمْرَأَتَكَyour wife.
كَانَتْShe
مِنَ(is) of
ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَthose who remain behind.
﴿٣٣﴾
إِنَّاIndeed, we
مُنزِلُونَ(will) bring down
عَلَىٰٓon
أَهْلِ(the) people
هَـٰذِهِ(of) this
ٱلْقَرْيَةِtown
رِجْزًاa punishment
مِّنَfrom
ٱلسَّمَآءِ(the) sky,
بِمَاbecause
كَانُواْthey have been
يَفْسُقُونَdefiantly disobedient."
﴿٣٤﴾
وَلَقَدAnd verily,
تَّرَكْنَاWe have left
مِنْهَآabout it
ءَايَةَۢa sign,
بَيِّنَةً(as) evidence
لِّقَوْمٍfor a people
يَعْقِلُونَwho use reason.
﴿٣٥﴾
وَإِلَىٰAnd to
مَدْيَنَMadyan
أَخَاهُمْtheir brother
شُعَيْبًاShuaib.
فَقَالَAnd he said,
يَـٰقَوْمِ"O my people!
ٱعْبُدُواْWorship
ٱللَّهَAllah
وَٱرْجُواْand expect
ٱلْيَوْمَthe Day
ٱلْأَخِرَthe Last,
وَلَاand (do) not
تَعْثَوْاْcommit evil
فِىin
ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth
مُفْسِدِينَ(as) corrupters."
﴿٣٦﴾
فَكَذَّبُوهُBut they denied him,
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُso seized them
ٱلرَّجْفَةُthe earthquake,
فَأَصْبَحُواْand they became
فِىin
دَارِهِمْtheir home
جَـٰثِمِينَfallen prone.
﴿٣٧﴾
وَعَادًاAnd Aad
وَثَمُودَاْand Thamud,
وَقَدand verily,
تَّبَيَّنَ(has) become clear
لَكُمto you
مِّنfrom
مَّسَـٰكِنِهِمْ‌ۖtheir dwellings.
وَزَيَّنَAnd made fair-seeming
لَهُمُto them
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaan
أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deeds
فَصَدَّهُمْand averted them
عَنِfrom
ٱلسَّبِيلِthe Way,
وَكَانُواْthough they were
مُسْتَبْصِرِينَendowed with insight.
﴿٣٨﴾
وَقَـٰرُونَAnd Qarun,
وَفِرْعَوْنَand Firaun
وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ‌ۖand Haman.
وَلَقَدْAnd certainly
جَآءَهُمcame to them
مُّوسَىٰMusa
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith clear evidences,
فَٱسْتَكْبَرُواْbut they were arrogant
فِىin
ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth,
وَمَاand not
كَانُواْthey could
سَـٰبِقِينَoutstrip Us.
﴿٣٩﴾
فَكُلاًّSo each
أَخَذْنَاWe seized
بِذَنۢبِهِۦ‌ۖfor his sin.
فَمِنْهُمThen of them
مَّنْ(was he) who,
أَرْسَلْنَاWe sent
عَلَيْهِon him
حَاصِبًاa violent storm,
وَمِنْهُمand of them
مَّنْ(was he) who,
أَخَذَتْهُseized him
ٱلصَّيْحَةُthe awful cry
وَمِنْهُمand of them
مَّنْ(was he) who,
خَسَفْنَاWe caused to swallow
بِهِhim,
ٱلْأَرْضَthe earth
وَمِنْهُمand of them
مَّنْ(was he) who,
أَغْرَقْنَا‌ۚWe drowned.
وَمَاAnd not
كَانَwas
ٱللَّهُAllah
لِيَظْلِمَهُمْto wrong them
وَلَـٰكِنbut
كَانُوٓاْthey were
أَنفُسَهُمْthemselves
يَظْلِمُونَdoing wrong.
﴿٤٠﴾
مَثَلُ(The) example
ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْtake
مِن دُونِbesides
ٱللَّهِAllah
أَوْلِيَآءَprotectors
كَمَثَلِ(is) like
ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِthe spider
ٱتَّخَذَتْwho takes
بَيْتًا‌ۖa house.
وَإِنَّAnd indeed,
أَوْهَنَthe weakest
ٱلْبُيُوتِ(of) houses
لَبَيْتُ(is) surely (the) house
ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ‌ۖ(of) the spider,
لَوْif (only)
كَانُواْthey
يَعْلَمُونَknow.
﴿٤١﴾
إِنَّIndeed,
ٱللَّهَAllah
يَعْلَمُknows
مَاwhat
يَدْعُونَthey invoke
مِن دُونِهِۦbesides Him
مِنany
شَىْءٍ‌ۚthing.
وَهُوَAnd He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mighty,
ٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wise.
﴿٤٢﴾
وَتِلْكَAnd these
ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُexamples
نَضْرِبُهَاWe set forth
لِلنَّاسِ‌ۖto mankind,
وَمَاbut not
يَعْقِلُهَآwill understand them
إِلَّاexcept
ٱلْعَـٰلِمُونَthose of knowledge.
﴿٤٣﴾
خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُAllah created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِthe heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth
بِٱلْحَقِّ‌ۚin truth.
إِنَّIndeed,
فِىin
ذَٲلِكَthat
لَأَيَةً(is) surely a Sign
لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believers.
﴿٤٤﴾
ٱتْلُRecite
مَآwhat
أُوحِىَhas been revealed
إِلَيْكَto you
مِنَof
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِthe Book,
وَأَقِمِand establish
ٱلصَّلَوٲةَ‌ۖthe prayer.
إِنَّIndeed,
ٱلصَّلَوٲةَthe prayer
تَنْهَىٰprevents
عَنِfrom
ٱلْفَحْشَآءِthe immorality
وَٱلْمُنكَرِ‌ۗand evil deeds,
وَلَذِكْرُand surely (the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ(of) Allah
أَكْبَرُ‌ۗ(is) greatest.
وَٱللَّهُAnd Allah
يَعْلَمُknows
مَاwhat
تَصْنَعُونَyou do.
﴿٤٥﴾
۞ وَلَاAnd (do) not
تُجَـٰدِلُوٓاْargue
أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(with the) People of the Book
إِلَّاexcept
بِٱلَّتِىby which
هِىَ[it]
أَحْسَنُ(is) best,
إِلَّاexcept
ٱلَّذِينَthose who
ظَلَمُواْ(do) wrong
مِنْهُمْ‌ۖamong them,
وَقُولُوٓاْand say,
ءَامَنَّا`We believe
بِٱلَّذِىٓin that (which)
أُنزِلَhas been revealed
إِلَيْنَاto us
وَأُنزِلَand was revealed
إِلَيْكُمْto you.
وَإِلَـٰهُنَاAnd our God
وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْand your God
وَٲحِدٌ(is) One,
وَنَحْنُand we
لَهُۥto Him
مُسْلِمُونَsubmit.`
﴿٤٦﴾
وَكَذَٲلِكَAnd thus
أَنزَلْنَآWe (have) revealed
إِلَيْكَto you
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ‌ۚthe Book.
فَٱلَّذِينَSo those
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُWe gave [them]
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Book
يُؤْمِنُونَbelieve
بِهِۦ‌ۖtherein.
وَمِنْAnd among
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthese
مَن(are some) who
يُؤْمِنُbelieve
بِهِۦ‌ۚtherein.
وَمَاAnd none
يَجْحَدُreject
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَآOur Verses
إِلَّاexcept
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَthe disbelievers.
﴿٤٧﴾
وَمَاAnd not
كُنتَ(did) you
تَتْلُواْrecite
مِن قَبْلِهِۦbefore it,
مِنany
كِتَـٰبٍBook,
وَلَاand not
تَخُطُّهُۥ(did) you write it
بِيَمِينِكَ‌ۖwith your right hand,
إِذًاin that case
لَّٱرْتَابَsurely (would) have doubted
ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَthe falsifiers.
﴿٤٨﴾
بَلْNay,
هُوَit
ءَايَـٰتُۢ(is) Verses
بَيِّنَـٰتٌclear
فِىin
صُدُورِ(the) breasts
ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who
أُوتُواْare given
ٱلْعِلْمَ‌ۚthe knowledge.
وَمَاAnd not
يَجْحَدُreject
بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَآOur Verses
إِلَّاexcept
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَthe wrongdoers.
﴿٤٩﴾
وَقَالُواْAnd they say,
لَوْلَآ`Why not
أُنزِلَare sent down
عَلَيْهِto him
ءَايَـٰتٌ(the) Signs
مِّنfrom
رَّبِّهِۦ‌ۖhis Lord?`
قُلْSay,
إِنَّمَا`Only
ٱلْأَيَـٰتُthe Signs
عِندَ(are) with
ٱللَّهِAllah,
وَإِنَّمَآand only
أَنَا۟I (am)
نَذِيرٌa warner
مُّبِينٌclear.`
﴿٥٠﴾
أَوَلَمْAnd is (it) not
يَكْفِهِمْsufficient for them
أَنَّآthat We
أَنزَلْنَاrevealed
عَلَيْكَto you
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Book
يُتْلَىٰ(which) is recited
عَلَيْهِمْ‌ۚto them?
إِنَّIndeed,
فِىin
ذَٲلِكَthat,
لَرَحْمَةًsurely is a mercy
وَذِكْرَىٰand a reminder
لِقَوْمٍfor a people
يُؤْمِنُونَwho believe.
﴿٥١﴾
قُلْSay,
كَفَىٰ`Sufficient is
بِٱللَّهِAllah
بَيْنِىbetween me
وَبَيْنَكُمْand between you
شَهِيدًا‌ۖ(as) Witness.
يَعْلَمُHe knows
مَاwhat
فِى(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِthe heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ‌ۗand the earth.
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those who
ءَامَنُواْbelieve
بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِin [the] falsehood
وَكَفَرُواْand disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِin Allah,
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَthose,
هُمُthey
ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ(are) the losers.`
﴿٥٢﴾
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَAnd they ask you to hasten
بِٱلْعَذَابِ‌ۚ[with] the punishment.
وَلَوْلَآAnd if not
أَجَلٌ(for) a term
مُّسَمًّىappointed,
لَّجَآءَهُمُsurely (would) have come to them
ٱلْعَذَابُthe punishment.
وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمBut it will surely come to them
بَغْتَةًsuddenly
وَهُمْwhile they
لَا(do) not
يَشْعُرُونَperceive.
﴿٥٣﴾
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَThey ask you to hasten
بِٱلْعَذَابِthe punishment.
وَإِنَّAnd indeed,
جَهَنَّمَHell,
لَمُحِيطَةُۢwill surely, encompass
بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers
﴿٥٤﴾
يَوْمَOn (the) Day
يَغْشَـٰهُمُwill cover them
ٱلْعَذَابُthe punishment
مِنfrom
فَوْقِهِمْabove them
وَمِنand from
تَحْتِbelow
أَرْجُلِهِمْtheir feet,
وَيَقُولُand He will say,
ذُوقُواْ`Taste
مَاwhat
كُنتُمْyou used
تَعْمَلُونَ(to) do.`
﴿٥٥﴾
يَـٰعِبَادِىَO My servants
ٱلَّذِينَwho
ءَامَنُوٓاْbelieve!
إِنَّIndeed,
أَرْضِىMy earth
وَٲسِعَةٌ(is) spacious,
فَإِيَّـٰىَso only
فَٱعْبُدُونِworship Me.
﴿٥٦﴾
كُلُّEvery
نَفْسٍsoul
ذَآئِقَةُ(will) taste
ٱلْمَوْتِ‌ۖthe death.
ثُمَّThen
إِلَيْنَاto Us
تُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned.
﴿٥٧﴾
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those who
ءَامَنُواْbelieve
وَعَمِلُواْand do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ[the] righteous deeds,
لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمsurely We will give them a place
مِّنَin
ٱلْجَنَّةِParadise
غُرَفًاlofty dwellings,
تَجْرِىflow
مِنfrom
تَحْتِهَاunderneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe rivers,
خَـٰلِدِينَwill abide forever
فِيهَا‌ۚin it.
نِعْمَExcellent is
أَجْرُ(the) reward
ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ(of) the workers
﴿٥٨﴾
ٱلَّذِينَThose who
صَبَرُواْ(are) patient
وَعَلَىٰand upon
رَبِّهِمْtheir Lord
يَتَوَكَّلُونَput their trust.
﴿٥٩﴾
وَكَأَيِّنAnd how many
مِّنof
دَآبَّةٍa creature
لَّا(does) not
تَحْمِلُcarry
رِزْقَهَاits provision.
ٱللَّهُAllah
يَرْزُقُهَاprovides (for) it
وَإِيَّاكُمْ‌ۚand (for) you.
وَهُوَAnd He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ(is) the All-Hearer,
ٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knower.
﴿٦٠﴾
وَلَئِنAnd if
سَأَلْتَهُمyou ask them,
مَّنْ`Who
خَلَقَcreated
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِthe heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth,
وَسَخَّرَand subjected
ٱلشَّمْسَthe sun
وَٱلْقَمَرَand the moon?`
لَيَقُولُنَّSurely they would say
ٱللَّهُ‌ۖ`Allah.`
فَأَنَّىٰThen how
يُؤْفَكُونَare they deluded?
﴿٦١﴾
ٱللَّهُAllah
يَبْسُطُextends
ٱلرِّزْقَthe provision
لِمَنfor whom
يَشَآءُHe wills
مِنْof
عِبَادِهِۦHis slaves
وَيَقْدِرُand restricts
لَهُۥٓ‌ۚfor him.
إِنَّIndeed,
ٱللَّهَAllah
بِكُلِّof every
شَىْءٍthing
عَلِيمٌ(is) All-Knower.
﴿٦٢﴾
وَلَئِنAnd if
سَأَلْتَهُمyou ask them,
مَّن`Who
نَّزَّلَsends down
مِنَfrom
ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky
مَآءًwater
فَأَحْيَاand gives life
بِهِthereby
ٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earth
مِنۢ بَعْدِafter
مَوْتِهَاits death?`
لَيَقُولُنَّSurely, they would say,
ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ`Allah.`
قُلِSay,
ٱلْحَمْدُ`All Praises
لِلَّهِ‌ۚ(are) for Allah.`
بَلْBut
أَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them
لَا(do) not
يَعْقِلُونَuse reason.
﴿٦٣﴾
وَمَاAnd not
هَـٰذِهِ(is) this
ٱلْحَيَوٲةُlife
ٱلدُّنْيَآ(of) the world
إِلَّاbut
لَهْوٌamusement
وَلَعِبٌ‌ۚand play.
وَإِنَّAnd indeed,
ٱلدَّارَthe Home
ٱلْأَخِرَةَ(of) the Hereafter -
لَهِىَsurely, it
ٱلْحَيَوَانُ‌ۚ(is) the life,
لَوْif only
كَانُواْthey
يَعْلَمُونَknow.
﴿٦٤﴾
فَإِذَاAnd when
رَكِبُواْthey embark
فِى[in]
ٱلْفُلْكِthe ship,
دَعَوُاْthey call
ٱللَّهَAllah
مُخْلِصِينَ(being) sincere
لَهُto Him
ٱلدِّينَ(in) the religion.
فَلَمَّاBut when
نَجَّـٰهُمْHe delivers them
إِلَىto
ٱلْبَرِّthe land,
إِذَاbehold,
هُمْthey
يُشْرِكُونَassociate partners (with Him)
﴿٦٥﴾
لِيَكْفُرُواْSo that they may deny
بِمَآ[in] what
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْWe have given them,
وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُواْ‌ۖand they may enjoy (themselves).
فَسَوْفَBut soon
يَعْلَمُونَthey will know.
﴿٦٦﴾
أَوَلَمْDo not
يَرَوْاْthey see
أَنَّاthat We
جَعَلْنَاhave made
حَرَمًاa Sanctuary
ءَامِنًاsecure
وَيُتَخَطَّفُwhile are being taken away
ٱلنَّاسُthe people
مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ‌ۚaround them?
أَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِThen do in the falsehood
يُؤْمِنُونَthey believe
وَبِنِعْمَةِand in (the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ(of) Allah
يَكْفُرُونَthey disbelieve?
﴿٦٧﴾
وَمَنْAnd who
أَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِthan (he) who
ٱفْتَرَىٰinvents
عَلَىagainst
ٱللَّهِAllah
كَذِبًاa lie
أَوْor
كَذَّبَdenies
بِٱلْحَقِّthe truth
لَمَّاwhen
جَآءَهُۥٓ‌ۚit has come to him.
أَلَيْسَIs there not
فِىin
جَهَنَّمَHell
مَثْوًىan abode
لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَfor the disbelievers?
﴿٦٨﴾
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those who
جَـٰهَدُواْstrive
فِينَاfor Us,
لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْWe will surely, guide them
سُبُلَنَا‌ۚ(to) Our ways.
وَإِنَّAnd indeed,
ٱللَّهَAllah
لَمَعَsurely (is) with
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَthe good-doers.
﴿٦٩﴾
