Tafheem ul Quran
Surah 45 Al-Jathiyah, Ayat 19-19
اِنَّهُمۡ لَنۡ يُّغۡنُوۡا عَنۡكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيۡـئًـا ؕ وَ اِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍ ۚ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِىُّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ
﴿45:19﴾
(45:19) Surely they will be of no avail to you against Allah.24
Indeed the wrong-doers are friends of each other, whereas Allah is the friend
of the God-fearing.
Notes
24. That is, if you make any changes in Allah’s religion only to please them,
they will not be able to save you from Allah’s accountability and punishment.
